BRIDGWATER MP Ian Liddell-Grainger has been attacked for blaming Somerset County Council for cutting money that supported the area's now-reduced bus service.
Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for Bridgwater, James Main, says Mr Liddell-Grainger is "cynical" for blaming the county council for the cuts.
Mr Main says he is writing to four local councils asking them to provide grants to help subsidise the less profitable bus routes to keep services running especially in isolated rural villages.
